When I was 13, I was diagnosed with Scoliosis and spent five of my teenage years wearing a back-brace every day. After I stopped wearing the brace, the doctors told me that I had to find ways to strengthen my back, glute and core muscles so that the good progress I’d made didn’t disappear.

I’ve been committed to becoming stronger, happier and healthier ever since then. Even on those days that I didn’t want to show up, I still did. I showed up for myself because no one else was going to do it for me.

Now I’m five years deep into my fitness journey and I feel the best I’ve felt in my life, physically and mentally. Fitness isn’t just about how you look, or what you eat. It’s about showing up and knowing that every step you take is one step closer to becoming a better version of yourself.
